To use Cooki3d in your web navigator, you must have a Sun Jvm >=1.4.2

If you don't succeed in installing the java jvm in your navigator, we propose you this scripts and links to help you.

...

Install help under 'Linux' (support Firefox):

First solution

download and install java jre if you don't have a version >= 1.4.2

         http://www.java.com/download/manual.jsp

Second solution,  you are not sure of your java installation..., your jvm doesn't work..., you don't understand why...

download this install script installCooki3d.sh and type in a console

user@host~$ sh installCooki3d.sh

Important notes on native library loading: If the jre is not installed in your home directory use the installCooki3d.sh script to install another jre in your home directory, else you must add write permission on the $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/i386/client/ directory. If you dont want install a jre in your home directory and you don't want add a this write permission, you can also use the LD_LIBRARY_PATH before starting firefox like this :

user@host~$export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$HOME/.cooki3d/api/libCommon:$HOME/.cooki3d/api/libCooki3d
